माणसाला जगायला काय लागत अन्न, वस्त्र, निवारा आणि Wi-Fi. चूक माणसाला जगायला लागतो तो चहा, फक्त एक कप चहा; बघा म्हणजे जेवणाला ३०-४० रुपये लागतात पण एक चहा ५ ₹ आणि एक पार्ले-जीचा पुडा ५₹ पोट भर, आणि ह्याच एक कप चहा पासून सुरु होते ती दोसTea.
खरं म्हणजे चहा हे माझं आवडत पेय. दिवसाची सुरुवात चहाने आणि दिवस संपतो सुद्धा चहानेच, आणि ह्याच चहा मुळे अनेकांशी मैत्रीपूर्ण नाती तयार झाली. इंजिनीरिंगच्या दुसऱ्या वर्षाला असताना ‘तंदूरी चहा’ हा एक नवीनच चहाचा प्रकार कानावर पडला होता आणि चहा प्रेमी असल्यामुळे तो प्यायची अधिकच उत्सुकता लागली होती, इंजिनीरिंग मध्ये अंकिता म्हणून माझी एक मैत्रीण आहे, मैत्रीण म्हणण्या पेक्षा बहीण. आम्ही दोघे चहा वेडे, आणि दोघे पण तंदुरी चहा च्या शोधात होतो. खरं म्हणजे सुरुवातीला आमच्या दोघं मध्ये एवढी चांगली मैत्री नव्हती. आमची ओळख फक्त इतकीच होती कि आम्ही दोघे एका वर्गात होतो आणि नंतर समजले कि आमच्या दोघांचं गाव जुन्नर, एवढीच होती ती ओळख, पण एक दिवशी तिला ऐरोलीत फिरता फिरता तंदूरी चहाच दुकान सापडल आणि तिने सहजच मला सांगितलं आणि तिथून सुरु झाली ती आमच्यातली दोसTea आणि नंतर त्याचं रूपांतर बहीण भावाच्या नात्यात झालं, आम्ही एवढे चहा वेडे आहोत कि आम्ही ज्यादिवशी पहिल्यांदा तंदूरी चहा पिलो तो दिवस आम्ही पुन्हा एका वर्षानंतर चहा पिऊन साजरा केला होता. आमच फक्त एकच ध्येय असायच; ऐरोलीत नवीन चहाच दुकान दिसलं कि जायचं आणि चहा प्यायचा. २०१९ ची सुरवातच होती, नाताळाच्या सुट्ट्यांनंतर पुन्हा कॉलेज सुरु झाले होते. आमचे Sports चालू होते खेळून खूप दमलो होतो म्हणून मी आणि माझा ग्रुप आम्ही असच भटकत होतो खरं तर आम्हाला जेवायचं होत पण नेमक तेवढ्यात समोर ऐरोलीत नवीनच उघडलेलं Chai Tales नावाच एक चहाच दुकान दिसल आणि आपसूकच पाय Chai Tales च्या दिशेने वळाले. त्या वेळेस आम्हाला पहिल्यांदा चहाचे वेग वेगळे प्रकार पाहयला मिळाले. आम्ही पहिलीच वेळ म्हणून मसाला चहा आणि बन मस्का घेतला, माती पासून तयार केलेल्या छोट्याश्या मडक्यात तो चहा आला, त्यात त्या मातीची पूर्ण चव उतरली होती अगदी अमृततुल्य असा तो चहा होता आणि त्याच क्षणी एक चारोळी सुचली ती अशी “दिवस भराचा सारा थकवा हा संध्याकाळचा चहा दूर करून जातो, उर्वरित दिवसाची नवी कहाणी लिहायला मज प्रेरणा देऊन जातो”, आणि सवयी प्रमाणे मी Insta ला हि पोस्ट केली Chai Tales च्या Insta page ला tag करून आणि त्यांना देखील ती कविता आवडली आणि त्यांनी ती Repost केली त्या नंतर आमचा Chai Tales अड्डाच बनला त्याचा मालक पण आमच्या ओळखीचा झाला होता.आम्ही एवढे चहा वेडे आहोत कि आम्ही वाढदिवस पण Chai Tales मध्ये साजरे करतो तिथे बसून तासंतास गप्पा मारतो तिथे ठेवलेली पु .ल.देशपांडे ह्यांची पुस्तक वाचतो कितीही ताण असला तरी सगळा ताण तिथे जाऊन दूर होतो. आमची एक मैत्रीण आहे मीनल, तिला चहा आवडतच नव्हता पण आत्ता आमच्या सोबत राहून ती पण चहा वेडी झाली आहे. एवढंच काय कर्नाळा किल्ल्याचा ट्रेक सुद्धा मी आणि माझ्या अनिकेत नावाच्या मित्राने चहा पिऊन सुरु केला होता चहा जर Energy drink म्हणाल तरी काहीच वावगं ठरणार नाही माझ्या साठी. एकदा तर आम्ही हद्दच केली आमचे जेव्हा ४ तास सलग लेक्चर असायचे तेव्हा तर मी Canteen मधून थर्मास भरून चहा न्यायचो आणि शिक्षकांची नजर चुकवून चहाचे घोट मारायचो. एकंदरीत चहा सोबत खूप आठवणी आहेत आत्ता सांगायला गेलं तर वाचायला कंटाळा येईल.
सकाळचा आळस असो किंवा संध्याकाळचा थकवा ,
