सोहम बेडरूम मधे आला, रेणुका बेड वर बसून बाहेर काढून ठेवलेल्या ड्रेस कडे बघत बसली होती. ” काय ग अजून तयार नाही झालीस? सगळ आवरल आहे ना मग घे तयारी करून. मि तुला कॅब बुक करून देतो.” रेणुका सोहम कडे बघत बोल्ली, ” मी नाही जात. कंटाळा आलाय. तसाही काही बोलायला नाहीये माझ्याकडे. फोन वर बोलतोच कि आम्ही.”

सोहम कडे बघत रेणुका बोल्ली, ” आहो मी फक्त हाउसवाईफ आहे. माझ्या सगळ्या मैत्रिणी जॉब करतात, पैसे कमवतात, मोठ्या लोकान्मधे उठतात बसतात, आणि मी फक्त घरीच बसलेले असते. मला कमीपणा वाटतोय आता.” रेणुका च उत्तर ऐकून सोहम हसला, ” अग राणी तू घरी फक्त बसत नाहिस.. ह्या घरात तुझ्याबिना काहीच नाही होत, तू शान आहेस ह्या घरची. आणि तू पण करायची ना काम, रिशभ झाल्यावर सोडावा लागला. पण तू घरून माझ्या बिझनेस मधे मदत करतेस ना. सगळ्यांची काळजी घेतेस. आमहाला चविष्ट जेवण बनवून देतेस ३ वेळेस, पाहुण्यांचे बघतेस, आई- बाबांला काय पाहिजे ते बघतेस. रिशभ च सगळ करतेस. अजून काय पाहिजे. एवढेच नाहीतर तु तुझ्या आवडी जोपसते, वाचन करतेस, वेळ मिळाला तर लिखाण करतेस. एक सांग तुझ्या मैत्रिणी तुला लहानपणापासूनच ओळखतात ना, त्या कशाला तुला जज करतील. तू उगाच विचार करत बसली आहेस.” सोहम च बोलण ऐकून रेणुका ला जरा धीर आला. लगेच तयारी ला लागली, बहेर येउन सॅंडल घालत होती त्यात तिच्या सासूबाई बाहेर आल्या, ” निघाली का ग?” ” हो आई. काही काम आहे?” रेणुका ने विचारले. ” काम नाही हे घे तुझ्या मैत्रिणींना दे.” सासूबाई ने रेणुका च्या हातात कुकीज चा डब्बा दिला. ” पण हे कशाला? आम्ही होटेल मधे जेवणार आहोत.” रेणुका ना डब्बा हातात घेत म्हंटलं. ” माझी सून किती मस्त कुकीज बनवते कळायला नको तुझ्या मैत्रिणींना!” रेणुका हसली.
